Board members of the Egyptian Angels Investors Association (EAIA), have met with Mr. Mohamed Farid, Chairman of the Egyptian Stock Exchange together with the Deputy Chairman and a professional team from EGX, on Tuesday, April 24th to discuss methods of mutual cooperation.

The role and effectiveness of the Nile Stock Exchange and methods of development were among the points discussed during the meeting.

EAIA which is currently under establishment, acts as the voice of the angel investment community and will strive to build and connect the angel investment ecosystem so as to ensure a coherent landscape for financing high-potential entrepreneurs.

Mr. Farid and Eng. El Alaily, Chairman of EAIA, have agreed that the association will seek to participate in the Nile Exchange’s development efforts through various ways, including inviting members of the stock exchange to awareness seminars and business roundtables organized by EAIA, aiming at presenting investment opportunities to investors as well as directing those who are interested to the best methods for dealing with the Nile Stock Exchange as an important tool to finance small and medium sized enterprises
