Malaikah in cooperation with TIYE Angels held a Women Angel Investment Outreach session on Feb. 18 at the Cairo Marriott Hotel.
The session highlighted the fact angel investment as a significant source of capital for startup and early-stage businesses as it brings in finance as well as vital business connections and expertise to enable businesses to grow.
The aim to increase the number of women angel investors in the ecosystem was also discussed.
The meeting also pinpointed helping startups become investment-ready and raise awareness on the alternative methods of financing.
Speakers were Mrs. Neveen El Tahri, Chairperson & Managing Director of 138 Pyramids and Delta Shied for Investment.
Also an overview of Angel Investment was presented by Eng. Samir El Alaily, Chairman, Malaikah.
Pitchers were, ESORUS, GUIDED and SAQHOUTE.
