Malaikah”, held its monthly interactive session highlighting “The Role of Innovation and Research in Scaling up Startups”. Panelists shared their views, professional insights and expertise about Agribusiness. The discussions highlighted the role of technology and innovation as keys to promoting sustainability in the agriculture industry. By adopting high-end and environmentally friendly technologies, agriculture can be made sustainable. As a result, the agriculture industry will serve more population and minimize the harm it causes to the planet.
Making the best of technology and research could help us feed a growing world population and reduce the major problems of poverty. Research and technology must focus as well on developing solutions that allow more production with fewer efforts and resources. The panelists representing agritechs, private sector companies, scale ups and a government representative delved deeper into ways and means to have research and technology join forces as well as create open and extended communications.
